20 - 010 Digital Storage

So if we are Digital Humans what is this digital information and where is it stored in our body? As we all know the digital data supporting the latest type of computer, the Smartphone, can be stored on the Smartphone itself or increasingly these days out on the network to which the Smartphone is wirelessly connected. Within the actual Smartphone data resides in memory chips with it moving to reside in the processing chips when actively being worked upon. So in terms of digital storage I am going to consider it here within the boundary of the human body. Although for those believers in telepathy and other out of body capabilities then the network scenarios will make interesting reading later in the book. So within every living cell within the human body then digital DNA is stored with the sum total of all the genes making up this DNA the human DNA genome. Similarly within every living cell within the human body, often wrapped around the DNA, is the digital RNA. The sum of the RNA making up a human RNA genome. The DNA can be broadly defined as purely a scrip of inherited genes whilst the RNA is more complex in that it contains instructions on how a new cell should be made and this process can be changed by the life lead by the living human. We will explore the detail of this later in the book. For now we are considering digital data types and storage. So all the living cells in the human body are storing digital information. The reproduction of these cells creates the life that you live within this human body. You are living inside an ongoing chemical reaction which in fact is your life. These cells give you your capabilities so you can live that life. Or unfortunately when they go wrong the suffering you can experience whilst trying to live that life. Then finally the chemical reaction will cease to work and then you will die. Your life is very dependant not only on specific cell types all working within you to do the hard processes of breathing, pumping blood and digesting food but on many control processes that keep everything balanced and inter connected correctly. The brain and nervous system are both automated and conscious controlled parts of the control processes that chemically run your life. Neurotransmitters, hormones and anti-bodies are some of the digital bullets that message throughout your living body. They have chemical and digital structures. Your body also contains friendly bacteria and less friendly bacteria and the dreaded viruses all impacting your chemical processes with all these having their own digital structures of DNA and RNA genomes. Now within the human body is a very important special digital store. In the male within sperm and within the female within the egg are stored the chromosomes where DNA is tightly packed. Both the sperm and the egg consist of 23 chromosomes and when combined upon fertilisation they make the 46 chromosomes that are used to create the new cell structure of a new offspring. What is significant about this digital storage within your body is it contains the data that is going to be passed down to future generations. It is the inheritable digital data that is going forward to the next generation but in the case of humans only when sex and fertilisation has initiated the process. It is this start of the reproduction of a new life where the power of digital reproduction leading to chemical cell reproduction becomes so astonishing.
